Introduction

Ayodhya is proud to have a dedicated group of local tour guides—trained, certified professionals committed to enriching the visitor experience. Founded in August 2021, our institution is the first organization in Ayodhya solely focused on offering guided tours. With a team of around two dozen members, we serve pilgrims and tourists from across India. Under the leadership of Shri Pramod Mishra, a native of Ayodhya, we work to boost domestic tourism by connecting travelers with the city's profound heritage. Additionally, we actively highlight culturally and historically significant sites in and around Ayodhya, bringing their importance to a broader audience.

Aim

The core mission of this organization is to deliver reliable and accurate information to pilgrims and tourists visiting Ayodhya, help them make the best use of their time, and ensure their safety—thus making their visit meaningful and memorable. Since its establishment, the organization has been consistently dedicated to achieving these goals and fulfilling its duties. Furthermore, we strive to create employment and engagement opportunities for the local population within the tourism industry, encourage youth participation, promote indigenous tourism products, and ensure that the benefits of tourism are shared with the local community.

Future Plan

Ayodhya is on its way to becoming a major global tourist destination, drawing both Indian and international visitors.

To welcome foreign tourists, our institution is training its members in English and other languages, ensuring excellent service and the effective promotion of Ayodhya’s spiritual and cultural importance.

Our mission is to empower local residents—especially those from Ayodhya—by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities. Through this, we aim to enhance their quality of life, preserve their heritage, and ensure they benefit from tourism, both directly and indirectly.

To achieve this, we will actively engage the community through skill development, awareness programs, and partnerships with tourism stakeholders, government bodies, and local institutions. Together, we aim to play a key role in shaping Ayodhya’s tourism-driven growth
